Ecoutia Connect Dev for desktop Chrome. Select text, review it and save it to your private CRM.
Development build · Chrome Web Store release pending. The official store installation link will appear here after publication and verification.
For invited technical testers. Manual installation and updates required. Gmail and WhatsApp Web readers are experimental; actual-account acceptance is pending. AI replies, filling and sending are unavailable.
Download the ZIP and extract it into a permanent folder.
In a normal desktop Chrome window, paste chrome://extensions into the address bar.
Enable Developer mode, click Load unpacked and choose the folder directly containing manifest.json.
Click the extensions puzzle icon, find Ecoutia Connect and optionally pin it. Click its icon to open the sidebar.
Click Authorize Connect in the sidebar, sign in to Ecoutia and confirm access. Your Chrome / Gmail account is separate from your Ecoutia account.
Create a customer in Workspace. Select text on an authorized ordinary web page, click Read current selection, review the preview, choose your customer and confirm saving.
chrome://extensions
Choose the extracted folder, not the ZIP or manifest file. Keep the folder in place and Developer mode enabled. Extracting the ZIP alone does not install it. No Node.js or API key is needed.
What you authorize
activeTab and scripting read the current page only after your action; storage keeps the local session and pending preview; identity connects your Ecoutia account; sidePanel displays the interface. Saved content goes to Ecoutia only when you confirm. No automatic sending or mailbox scanning.
Supported scope
Manual selected text: implemented in the development build. Gmail: only loaded, expanded text messages, experimental. WhatsApp Web: loaded messages only with manually confirmed source identity, experimental. Real Chrome / account acceptance of 0.4.0 remains pending.
Updates and troubleshooting
To update, pause Connect, replace the files in the same folder, click Reload in the extensions page and refresh the source web page. If blocked, use a normal Chrome profile; organization policy may require IT approval. On mobile or other browsers, open this guide on desktop Chrome; Workspace remains accessible.
